Color Reborn: Fused With Facebook, The $41M Social Photo App Is Back

This is where things could be really interesting. When You Visit with a person (or they create Visit a), which appeared on Facebook Ticker. Anyone who can click on Go to see it and immediately start watching the video stream, without having to jump to a different page or install the Facebook application's color. Click an item in the ticker, and the two then you watch live streaming (and then all of your friends will see it in their ticker).

Which means this video streams can easily go viral. They do not have to (you can restrict your privacy settings so that only the best friends you can watch your Visit), but if a celebrity or journalist wanted to launch a potentially viral video feed on Facebook, Color can be a good way to do that. That is why it is not surprising when the Color says it is currently in talks with news organizations that are interested in having their reporters began broadcasting from the app.

There are still many questions. Facebook has been working on a photo sharing application itself, although it is unclear whether this will ever be released. If yes, then it could compete directly with Color. And then there is a larger question: will people actually interested in new features in the first place? Do they want to live streaming video to a friend, or view photos that people close to them to share?
